Scavengers

To a certain extent, it's possible to stockpile stress. I've done a lot of running up & down the EarthSci stairs today; dragged unwilling information out of Google, and assembled travel plans for the next fortnight. It seems to be taking a hell of a long time to organise, but I don't mind worrying about it now - when my brain fails and I forget which leg of the journey I'm on, I can fall back on pre-prepared plans. I think I now have two return flights, and five lots of accomodation sorted.

Sleep can work much the same way... I can get a little extra sleep in anticipation of something that needs more hours of conscious activity - or, more often, I can delay sleeping for a few days until it all comes to claim its dues at once.

Speaking of sleep deprivation... the Scavenger Hunt (and assorted other prosh week activities) runs this week. If you've had any connection to Infinite Images in the past, or just want an excuse to rampage around the city in the name of a quasi-legal event, please join in :)

The full Scav Hunt list comes out at midday this Thursday, and the items are due by midday Friday. Black Ops runs midnight 'til 4am Friday, and is at least as much fun as all the other 24 hours combined. [livejournal.com profile] futurelegend, [livejournal.com profile] parakleta [livejournal.com profile] tarleon and I were all allegedly involved in alleged hijinks some years back, during which many large and impractical items were allegedly liberated from their imprisonment around Melbourne. *coughlargebrightredfirehosereelcough*

Allegedly. Of course, none of it really happened, now, did it?

If you can help out, we'd love to have you along... contact [livejournal.com profile] aeliel if you can donate time/insanity/items/money...
