Ahh - see I've only lived on this side of the city for a couple of years - so I always found it funny that Burwood station wasn't in Burwood. I guess this explains it.

Just as something useful for morsla, if you are going to catch the tram, might I suggest you take the train to Hawthorn first, and then catch the tram from just outside Hawthorn station. That way you avoid tramming along Bridge Rd, which is very often the slowest part of that tram trip.
