Hmmm

Random observation: if you accidentally cut yourself on a bit of jagged metal that's covered in superglue, the cut closes instantly. Still hurts a bit, but there's virtually no loss of blood.

I'm sure that this will come in handy one day. Just have to figure out how...

That's what superglue was originally invented for - to close wounds in battlefield operations.

I know the superglue background... coating the sharp(ish) object in superglue before cutting yourself just seemed to be a fortuitous bit of forward planning :)

Somehow, I doubt that superglue-filled bullets would count as "blanks" though...

Superglue Man! Stronger than bullet wounds!

Or not, maybe.

Depending on when the glue dried a glue-covered bullet could make an awful mess of the gun barrel.

As long as you're not planning to work in the inquisition you shouldn't need it too often...

[identity profile] paradigmshifty.livejournal.com 2006-05-22 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
I wasn't aware they were still recruiting? Where does one apply? :-)

[identity profile] kunoichi-chan.livejournal.com 2006-05-22 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.

[identity profile] paradigmshifty.livejournal.com 2006-05-22 06:36 am (UTC)(link)
Hmmm, how were you planning on doing it? It might still be worth it...

[identity profile] kunoichi-chan.livejournal.com 2006-05-22 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
With a superglue covered knife! *laugh*

[identity profile] paradigmshifty.livejournal.com 2006-05-22 06:42 am (UTC)(link)
Could take a while then :-)

I'm wondering if it's worth it to spend some time with you one-on-one? {grin}

[identity profile] kunoichi-chan.livejournal.com 2006-05-22 06:47 am (UTC)(link)
Heh. I really doubt it's worth the pain, though!!

[identity profile] paradigmshifty.livejournal.com 2006-05-22 07:26 am (UTC)(link)
Hmmm.

Can we do it without the pain then? (The date, not the killing! Sheesh!) :-)

[identity profile] paradigmshifty.livejournal.com 2006-05-22 07:59 am (UTC)(link)
Oh well. Can't blame a man for asking :-)

Not the exact link, but here is a good start:

LOL - for some reason I'm now thinking of "cutting" fetishists who don't want to see blood :)

[identity profile] kunoichi-chan.livejournal.com 2006-05-22 05:58 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, dear!!

[identity profile] matcha-pocky.livejournal.com 2006-05-22 07:57 am (UTC)(link)
Not that surprising. Non-allergenic superglue derivatives are used as medical sealants - a test unit first used it during the vietnam war, with apparently great success on injured soldiers who would otherwise probably have bled to death. 'Liquid Band-Aid' is actually a form of superglue, and slightly more powerful versions are used in emergency medicine.

The internet is a wonderful place :) It'll be great if zombies ever attack :)

[identity profile] morsla.livejournal.com 2006-05-23 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
Don't you mean, "when zombies attack again"? :)

I'd hide in the internet if zombies swept through the streets, but a quick look inside any forum site will show that the internet's full of zombies too...

Well know I know what to use to seal my gas filled zombies on the cheap.
