work for the right-brain...
Jul. 25th, 2004 01:01 amJust finished my current batch of contract painting, proving my theory that it's always easiest to paint after midnight. I'll head into GW next week, to see if they still want the dreadnaught in their window - if not, I'll take some photos and get it ready for sale. It's a nice feeling, finishing a job. No more contract work at the moment, but I have other -models that I can paint up for auction.
Speaking of jobs, I picked up my first freelance writing job on Friday afternoon - science writing, to boot. I'll be looking through the history of one of the projects at work, and writing an article for the divisional magazine - probably filled with endless changes & revisions, as it needs approval from several groups (universities, industry, work, etc). I'm looking forward to writing it, though - I learn a little more about the project, and I can get the article published - two good things, from where I'm standing.
