Thanks :) I wanted to share the feeling of being miles from anywhere, and the coastal shots seemed the best way to do it.
Still didn't make it back to the top of Cradle, despite spending a bit of time in the valley. Perfect weather this time, but we reached the base of the Face Track and found that the path was closed off due to rockfalls...
Something tells me we need to do the Western Arthers some time in the future. If you want spectacular photo opotunities not much beats it. Although it is a very hard hike. I think the only hike harder in Tas would be Federation but it'd sure be worth it.
Give me a call when you've got some spare time, it would be good to catch up as it's been too long again.
It does sound tempting... I'll have to build up a lot more general fitness first, though, as my knees and ankles have been getting very temperamental lately.
