Still 'ere

Right... computer has been assembled & plugged in, we've built a desk under it, and we even have a net connection. Cool :)

Sorry I couldn't make it out last night, for those who went - my knee is buggered up again (inflamed, tendon problem, old news) and I've managed to catch aeliel's not-quite-a-cold. I'm trying to build my immune system up for Friday night...

We've been madly unpacking in spare moments since we arrived, and still have a lot to go - we only got a filing cabinet into the house yesterday, so there are lots of boxes of notes to be organised. Even keeping just the bare essentials for teaching/tutoring/future reference (summaries and textbooks) we have a hell of a lot of notes - there have been 12 (!) years of uni between the two of us ;-)

There are all sorts of cool things to read, out there on LJ... I've been trying to keep up to date on what's going on, and I keep finding all sorts of great stuff.
