The timetabling for UniCon is finished, and all laid out for printing.
We have:
I've also touched up Fi's illustration for the Unicon website (colourised) and flyers (greyscale). Plus, re-calculated the operating budget based on the new timetable, and checked venue availability for all the games. We can guarantee each game one room for each session timetabled, and will do our best to find rooms for any games that run multiple teams in a session.
I'll have copies in stores (and at DWARFCon) by the weekend, and then I'm finished :-)
The con, for those interested, will be held at the Melbourne Uni Arts Centre (corner of Grattan and Swanston streets). It's nice and close to all the food outlets around the university, and (unlike the Old Arts building) is very easy for everyone to find...
Oh - and if anyone else is interested in dark ambient electronica,
mousebane's RPG-soundtrack post inspired me to look for some free tracks on the internet... I've downloaded quite a few, many of which are very good (like the one I'm listening to now). I'll be making a couple of audio CDs once I have enough of it - let me know if you want a copy.
We have:
* Trivia night (and early registration, for those wanting to sleep in on Saturday morning) Friday 24th of September. (Note that the Infinite Images trivia night will be held before this - aeliel has emailed out the dates already).
* 7 gaming sessions across the weekend
* 7 Freeform games (yes, you can play an all-freeform con if you like...)
* 15 Tabletop RPGs
* A $5 all-you-can-watch Anime weekend
* Baron Munchausen, Crimson Skies, Mechwarrior, Settlers and Warhammer 40K

Search for your music genre in google, and wade through the endless C@@L MP3 NOW! links... there are plenty of free sites still out there. Try http://www.ampcast.com/music/random.php?id=324 as a starter.

Date: 2004-07-06 12:05 pm (UTC)I'm about finished with the Dark Ambient section, and have just downloaded some of Toby Emerson's electronica for something a bit more upbeat. It's good stuff...
