Unintended Nocturnalism
Aug. 1st, 2004 09:26 pmSomehow, without any conscious effort, I've switched back to a mostly nocturnal cycle. This is a pain, as I need to use the labs during "working hours" starting from 9am tomorrow morning...
It's been a good few days.
aeliel and I spent Saturday lazing around, and recovering from the Week That Was; setting the pace for the weekend.
futurelegend dropped by for lunch out of the blue this afternoon, and we went riding in search of gelati (foiled! Apparently the gelati shop feels a need to close over winter...) which became a search for bubble-tea (no shortage of shops selling that, though...). Dropped in on
miss_rynn and Jye for a while, and rode back home.
In between all that, I've been painting until the wee small hours of the morning. I bought some daylight bulbs for the lights in my room, and suddenly I'm not unknowingly mixing everything in shades of blue to counter the orange-tinged light. I'm doing the paint-before-a-tournament thing, which I haven't tried for a year and a half... as usual, there are plenty of work-in-progress photos at http://www.pbase.com/morsla/inaryss. You can also see a few behind this cut...
