Tournament aftermath..

Phew - the 40k tournament weekend has finished, and I can start packing for Tasmania...
I walked away with 1st place, sportsmanship; 2nd place, player's choice; and 2nd place, favourite army - finishing 7th overall, from a field of 60. First time I've been anywhere near the top ten for a couple of years, and very nice to win the sportsmanship award - it's nice to know that people had fun playing against me :) Two complete victories (and they still enjoyed losing every model on the table?!), one close loss, and two annihilations on the Sunday (but I managed to have fun, while losing everything I had...).
There are a couple of photos (and links) behind this cut:
From work-in-progress...

To the competition itself:

There are a few more photos at http://www.pbase.com/morsla/komplete_fanatik, and the in-progress shots at http://www.pbase.com/morsla/inaryss - unfortunately, I was far too tired to try taking photos ofthe 120-odd armies. I'm bloody exhausted after a week of 3am painting marathons, and I need to buy some more waterproof gear for tassie - time I got out of the house.
Erggh. Need sleep...
