Beneath the great pile of debris; after untold hours of searching; finally, a bed is found :)

Yup - I've been "cleaning" my room, procrastinating my thesis-writing. I'm spurred on by the Silent Hill 3 soundtrack... who knows what could be lurking in the dark corners, hidden by piles of books and boxes? Creeping paranoia = productive cleaning. Occasionally, I shift up a gear and hit the "break in case of apathy" Atari Teenage Riot vault.

I've given away or sold three boxes of stuff today, via the WAU forums. Combine that with four bags of less useful stuff put in the bin outside, and a large bag of op-shop clothes, and there's a really, really tiny amount of space again. Not much, but enough to lay out a couple of reference books - which is all I need to get back to writing.

So - it's procrastination, but of the best kind - the sort that I really can't manage to feel guilty over. All that cleaning needed doing before a pile of books fell over, trapping me in my room until it was too late to submit the thesis.

Hey - now there's an idea...

No. You will write this thesis. You will hand it in. And then you shall be dragged out to Abyss again.

Because gothdom needs an Emperor.

I have to agree, although I'm leaning more towards the frowning. Cleaning is fine if it's aiding the thesis writing, but not if it's going to put it off. As a procrastinating cleaner myself, I understand, but I'm not writing a thesis. Start writing damn you. Time to seperate the necessities from the excuses.

*hides from the Frowning*

I'm writing. See me write.

Have just had a chat with Dave, and found out that he's overseas until the 4th... this week, I'm writing a presentation; next week, I'm finishing some chapters to give to him for comments.

It's happening slowly, but it is still happening...
