I've discovered why sleep doesn't seem to offer any real rest, lately. I've started actually writing essays in my sleep.

I spent a good ten minutes or so explaining a how to distribute and market eBooks, to a bunch of people I'd never met before. They threw questions at me that I hadn't considered before, I gave them answers, and backed them up with things I've gathered over the past year of research. I walked away from the conversation feeling pretty pleased that I'd found a new angle on explaining the process.

Then I woke up, wondering why I was still in bed...

Bring on the holidays, so I can stop writing essays and start doing this stuff in the real world. All these theories are fine, but I want to try putting some of them into practice :)

I get to hand in my last assignment tomorrow. It is all le done!

I want one of these job type things working with words... that'd be nice...

but still, if you've been keeping up with my lj you'll realise that other things may be afoot (or ahand) for next year.

how many more assignments do you have?

(and i too have been finding myself discussing my publishing assignment...)

Did your sleepy self come up with good arguments on the way to market eBooks?

Media Design is last (and a bit late, but that couldn't be helped). Three assignments and a 2,000 word essay - after that, I'm free :)

Well, apart from filling out subject feedback forms. Most of them were great, but Design really, really wasn't...

Yep. Well, good arguments on where to save money in the publishing process, and why they'll be even more cost effective in future. I even remembered them when I woke up :)

That is crazy. But I was hunting down criminals in my sleep last night, so maybe I am not one to talk about crazy. Damn NaNoWriMo.

rant (sorry!)

I know how you feel about being ready to put theory into practice. Gah! I've had lecturers say generally enthusiastic things about my work for six years and I just want to get out there and prove how much they have underestimated me! ;-)

A pity your design subject sucked. Yet it is a frigging hard subject to teach. Once you get it it is a bit of a case of "don't think...feel". If you feel and think differently to the lecturer , it's a nightmare. Grr.

PS: If i was a better geek i would be doing another version of e-publication (if you can call it that)...e-urban design for sites like cybertown. hmmmm
