anachrotech community. The "Large Hot Pipe Organ" is an enormous, propane-fuelled, explosive organ, which has been taken to festivals and shows around Europe... the photos below are from http://www.lhpo.org/

They have a website at http://www.srl.org/ - unfortunately, I haven't been able to load anything beyond their first page. To quote from their description: "Each performance consists of a unique set of ritualized interactions between machines, robots, and special effects devices, employed in developing themes of socio-political satire. Humans are present only as audience or operators."
Those who share a city with me should pray that I never learn how to weld...
