Random oddities
Aug. 8th, 2007 04:18 pmI love the corporate end of Melbourne. It's like watching animals at the zoo, only without an entry fee...
Walking along the river at lunchtime,
jilavre and I stepped over a man asleep on the footpath, resting his head on the base of a pylon. Further up the path, two people were drinking wine on a park bench. It wasn't quite your average riverside streetscape, though. The sleeping man wore a business suit, and the two women on the bench were dressed up in corporate attire, and had brought their own wine glasses. Plus they had a bottle, instead of a cask.
Is there some kind of "corporate derro" movement that I've missed?

Date: 2007-08-12 08:10 am (UTC)I leave on Tuesday morning. At the moment, I'm wading through online bookings for public transport in the UK (urgh) - Edinburgh --> Nottingham --> Oxford, which seems to have taken hours to interpret.
