Has anyone ever mentioned that perhaps you're a glutton for punishment or tend to be heading that way? ;)

It has come up in conversation once or twice...

My prediction is that half the big groups of figures down the bottom of the list won't get done before the end of the year. Paid work, uni work and Life(tm) usually get in the way of finishing things for myself, but it's nice to dream.

I'm looking forward to not having as much humidity in the air. I can't paint much when the pigments congeal in their pots, and the daylight bulbs make sweat stream down my face. Overnight painting is usually okay, but I'd like to paint in normal daytime hours one day a week, as this is likely to be the other part of my income for a while.

Gosh it would be nice if the humidity would back down a few notches. I'd be jealous of your painting-as-income because it's something you enjoy (and are bloody good at), but I suspect it gets to be a bit of a chore. And working in daylight hours is good. It would be a bit too hypocritical of me to make remarks along the lines of about bloody time you stopped being nocturnal. ;)
