Another week goes by
Jun. 28th, 2004 06:01 pmFirst thing first - Abyss turns nine this Friday.
aeliel and I will be going - anyone else up for a night out? I have new shiny clothes to wear... :P
In the past week, I have:
Shared a hostel room with a paranoid schizophrenic.
Learned how to operate an X-ray diffractometer.
Spent a Friday night processing reams of data (and squiggly-line graphs) to the endless confusion of English tourists staying in the hostel.
Spent a Thursday night testing the theory that my beer capacity has not changed since the China trip. (I was wrong, but not by too much...)
Written ten pages of background notes for Places Between.
Practised Tai Chi alone, on the shores of a lake, and felt calmer for it.
Grown accustomed to colder climes than Melbourne, and felt warmer for it.
I have not:
Even so much as glanced at the timetabling or booklets for Unicon.
Thought about "work work" @ CSIRO.
Looked into a venue for winter Tai Chi classes at the uni.
Trained properly - I have no energy at the moment...
Spent enough time with those I care about.
I'll be fixing these in the next few days ;-) I'm off to training tonight, both ankles firmly strapped. I think I have many minor aches and pains at the moment - I guess there's only one way to find out if they're "proper" injuries...
Oh, and here's one for
kikilon... ( meme )
