It begins...
Dec. 8th, 2003 10:28 pmOkay, time to put something *in* the journal, now it's up and all...
My floor is covered in cables that are connecting all the electrical gizmos on the shelves; my desk is recovering from a spilt pot of vivid blue ink that came close to dying the computer an unexpected colour; I still haven't bought a powerboard big enough to plug my desklamp into - but, despite the chaos that surrounds me I feel strangely calm.
I'm sitting with my balcony door wide open, enjoying the breeze and the full moon, and my computer is playing me songs that I'd forgotten to listen to for far too long. Random playlists are always more fun when you know that every song on the computer has been a favourite at least once ;)
Being an old-fashioned sort who likes to own music, I ordered PWEI CD to make up for missing out on general admission tickets to Korn - it'll probably arrive just after Christmas, shortly after I forget ever buying it. It's nice being able to surprise yourself - my memory isn't what it might become...
