Who wants to come to Psychonaut tonight?

Late notice, but I know it's already been half-planned for a while now. I have plenty of music here, but there is not enough room to dance ;)

I've been sorting through photos from my foray home... the garden's looking much healthier after a week of rain, and I decided to take a few shots to send to my parents. I have to coax them into using email somehow, and half a dozen photos in their account might be enough reason to check it once in a blue moon. The garden was feeling a tad photogenic, leaping in the way of the lens. It's hard to believe that it was a mostly-vacant block, when we moved in.

If you work on a rose farm (like [livejournal.com profile] jilavre) these may induce post-traumatic-stress-disorder. You have been warned...

There are a few more on http://www.pbase.com/morsla/spring_2004 (only a couple, though - I haven't uploaded the whole lot just yet)

There are definitely Just Joey & Iceberg in the pictures - off the top of my head, I can't remember the other ones though. I spent most of my time fascinated by the insects living on the roses, and not enough time fascinated by the roses themselves...

I'll see if I can get the resident horticulturalist to ID some of the photos, when she looks in her email ;)

They're beautiful.

They make me want to grow roses, but I think I probably should start small and see if I can keep my spider plant alive first. :-D

Spider plants are cool :) Once they get started, you can keep splitting off runners to make new plants - like strawberries, but much harder to kill...
