Gah. My entire to-do list is a tiny subset of yours!

I'm not doing the actual writing of most of it, though... that will probably take a while ;)

Although I will be writing up the next con-style modules aiming at letting other people print them out. It should be good practice for actually fleshing out the background in advance, instead of adding it all during play. I haven't had much practice at *not* improvising things on the fly.

Tell me about it.

Apparently you can write "The PC's should be able to change any of this stuff with their actions" but can't really follow up with "so deal with it, what kind of GM are you anyway, just wing it you dim-witted hick!"

You've got to do suggestions and stuff...

Bah.
My entire to-do list is not a subset or even one of those little interconnectedy thingy bits on a venn diagram.

Completely nonlinky. Like oil and water.

That's not my whole list. It's a large part, but not the whole thing... I doubt I can remember the whole lot at any given moment.

DWARFCon will not be on this year.

Many people were talking about it at Conquest as they have had their rate hike in Venue cost this year as well as a number of other problems with the committee including but not limited to the disappearance of the treasurer with $1000 missing and their main coordinator now being in another state.

The next Con in Melbourne is now UniCON which you're helping to organise and therefore shouldn't be plotting to run games for.

The wargames organisers have been told that Dwarfcon won't run - however, the remaining DWARF members at the end of Conquest decided that they'd try to forge on regardless, as Conquest and Arcanacon offered to help them out. A list of names went around during the post-con dinner, and I added my name to the other people offering to write games.

I don't give it a particularly good chance of getting off the ground, but if it does I'll have a game for them.

Thank you for that and sorry if that response came out terse, I didn't mean it that way. All I'd heard was at the con about spiralling costs, disorganised treasury and the like. Melbourne needs more Roleplaying, so if they do manage to get something up and running I'm all for being there and helping out.
