Two things of note...

* If you've discovered [livejournal.com profile] fetnas lurking on your "Friend of" list and wondered who the hell it was, fetnas = Stef. He's been lurking for a while, but may have given up trying to find familiar faces in the wilderness of my Friends page... so he now has his own. Hope that clears up some of the mystery - go over and say hi :)

* [livejournal.com profile] unicon_games is the UniCon committee's lj community. The ability to archive information and carry out threaded discussion beats the hell out of an email list... Membership is closed (committee only) as much of what we cover will be boring/incomprehensible to anyone outside of the organising crew, anyway. For those of you in said committee, you'll need to join it (follow the link in the community info page) to see anything... simply adding it to your Friends pages won't work.

UniCon already has seven games promised, and we've only just distributed bookmarks with the convention date. I'm looking forward to it...

Does that seven count the Fair Folk trilogy?

Yes - I hope they're still coming...

The convention will run from September 30 - October 2. It's the week after Grand Final Chaos this time, and should be far away enough to give everyone time to write :)

Yeah, though I might randomly decide to make it a Mountain Folk underground-terminator-squad game for the hell of it, and for the sheer cognitive disconnect.

"It's kind of like Space Hulk... tripped out on really bad acid"

Magitech for equipment; cephalids and dark-dwelling beasties for 'stealers... and then a mind-destroying Wyld Zone where you jump on the players' brains with hobnail boots. Yeah, I can see that working... ;)

Are you organising it this year?

I'm pondering either a reprise of my TROS-nes or possibly something WtFy.

Then again, I am looking at saving my WtF joy for Arc.. we'll see.

Yep - Mel ([livejournal.com profile] jaquiej) is the main ConOrg, and I'm doing the Secretary/communications/timetabling stuff. Either game would be good - the Riddle of Steel game seemed to go down well at Arcanacon.

Well,I am working up a new campaign world for TRoS, so I suspect I will run with that and probably come up with a new game, using all sorts of the nifty stuff that TFoB and hopefully The TRoS Companion has to offer.

Where should we send blurbs and stuff? I think I have the basics of my blurb ready for the Get Smart game I'm running, and if I could find a place to send it, that'd probably be the impetus to get off my arse and finish it...

I still need to set up an email account for blurbs... I should have that sort of thing organised next week.
