I'm working from home today. All my work for the day is computer-based, and my work monitor flickers so badly I can't look at it for more than a couple of hours...

I can paint on my lunchbreak! This is the best discovery ever. I can't even feel particularly guilty about not being in the office, given that I have better software and hardware at home - I can shift a gig of work-in-progress files around on my music player, and I can get a lot more work done at home. Plus, I save two hours of travelling time :)

I have just discovered Kenji Kawai's "Avalon" soundtrack, while looking for Ghost in the Shell. Another plus: music in the office (on headphones) doesn't sound nearly as good as music at home.

Can I get a copy of that ST at some time? I am a soundtrack junkie...

Absolutely. I was wondering whether you had it already.

I bought these to go with this, specifically keeping game soundtracks in mind. Yes, I am a hopeless geek :)

So far, the only game use it's had has been [livejournal.com profile] aeliel's Buffy game. That should change soon, though...

I reckon working fom home is a good thing if you're self-motivated and disciplined. Some people need the office drudgery to be "productive" (and I use the term loosely).

I personally agree with your assessment. You get a lot more work done, and are in a much better environment. The cut travel time is another definite plus.

Now, get back to work! (Where have I heard this one before? *goes back to work as well*)
