soo... tempting...
Jan. 14th, 2004 01:34 pmWhy, why, why did I sign up to the
cyberwarez community? So many people showing off so many pretty things...
Given where my finances will be at by July, I can't afford to go haring off after all the nice ebay offers, but I don't think I'll be able to resist them all. Hmmmm. Guess it could be worse - I could be smoking a pack of cigarettes a day - I think that works out at 80-odd dollars a week. At least I'll have something other than ash, emphysema, and throat cancer to show for my money.
This weekend looks happily full of Arcanacon planning, where I look over the one game I'm running, and three that I'm sitting on the reserves bench for :) All good fun - I haven't played enough of anything, lately. Just had a phonecall from another player, so I'm a little less worried about WM numbers. At least I'll have enough of them to justify buying a few prizes, now.
Fortunately, there's a week of almost-freedom leading up to the con - I'll only be in the lab for one day, and spending the rest of the time painting up the last two commission jobs. There's a creative vibe going around, and I intend to stay immersed in it for as long as possible. If I start to lose inspiration, I'll just have to poke all these other writers and artists until they start back up again...
