Come to Hell
Jul. 29th, 2005 03:19 pmUrge to dance: rising.
My ankle is mostly fixed, now - it creaked a bit at training last night, but I bandaged it carefully before the class. I had one of those strange moments where I realised that I was actually doing sections of the Wudan form that I'd seen weeks ago - when I first saw them demonstrated, I had absolutely no idea how to replicate the movements. I'm impressed :)
I'm determined to mend my overstretched ligaments by next week, though. Hell is a new EBM/Electro club running in the old Paladin venue (upstairs to avoid the football/post-work crowd). It started this month, and August 5th will be the next night. Some more information can be found here, with some minimalist info on the club's website here.
Anyone else feel like coming along?
EDIT: In the LJ post (first link, above) they mention that you can email the club to get $10 entry before 1am.

Date: 2005-07-29 12:15 pm (UTC)Bandages are not adequate casing to train on. =P You know this...
How's the stretching been going?

Date: 2005-07-31 12:21 am (UTC)Tai Chi (if I'm doing it carefully) is actually helping my ankles more than just resting it - the ligaments are still stretched, but there are a lot of gentle exercises that help to train co-ordination back into the joint. My muscles and ligaments heal fairly quickly, but it takes a while for the rest of me to remember how to use those joints properly.
