My White Dwarf Eldar article is now up on the GW website - you can find it in the Showcase section at http://oz.games-workshop.com/games/40k/eldar/articles/showcase/default.htm

I'm quite happy with how it turned out in print, although there are some super-close-up shots of messy highlighting that make me cringe a little... The models were virtually all painted over two months of weeknights (including the dreaded 5am painting shifts), so I can't really complain. I've also learned a lot more about painting in the three years since I did this lot :-)

While trying to work out how long ago I painted them, I started to put together a list of tournaments and conventions. It's not nearly as illustrious a CV as some people may have *cough[livejournal.com profile] miss_rynncough*, but it's a longer list than I expected.

It'll get in there eventually :) When I first saw the Bio section, I couldn't work out when I'd run things... this is a draft, I guess.

*grin* I'm just aware from N years of running cons that the feedback we get always says "I pick my games based on the author". Given co-goers efforts to remember people's names (non-existent), having the index to look up a game and go "ah! that's his/her name!" seemed like a plan.

Mwahahaha!! I should upload my gaming CV to AON. Because, you know, now I feel dared to. :)

The question is, do you have enough spare hours to compile it all in? :)

Although, didn't you have a similar post in your journal a while back? I remember looking at the list and watching it grow as people suggested games you'd forgotten about.

Hey, cool article! Awesome work! Communications is definitely a field in which you excel.

Read in style/tone like all the other 40k army articles I've read (which is probably 2), with distinct notes of Ben.

And that last page on tactics/strategy made me think fondly of my one foray into games of such things (Krynn trilogy of computer games *shuddergrin*)

Thanks :)

I think I'll try offering more free articles around the place, until I actually have a few in print. One day, I'd really like to make a living from these sorts of things...

Strategy games are good for you. You should play more of them ;)

You have forgotten one. There was that Changeling game with [livejournal.com profile] futurelegend at conquest however long ago. I remember that one because it was the first time I met you. Obviously not that important to you *sob*.
