Back to school...

I'm still not so sure about this early-start thing - it's been seven years since I started school during February, and I don't think I like it at all. I can only console myself with the knowledge that I have many Shiny Things to look at, and the realisation that I'll be glad for the extra month of study when the Time of Deadlines draws near.

I'm burying my jealousy at virtual_munkee's Big Day Out adventures by turning up my music nice and loud... unfortunately, I don't know if I'll be awake at 11:00 when JJJ replays the Aphex Twin BDO set. Too many days of not enough sleep are catching up with me, and I might need to be awake when I start my research project (ulp) tomorrow...

Training is back on tomorrow night, so I'll be exhausted by the start of my first aid course on Tuesday. If I look too dead, though, I might get mistaken for a practice dummy / cadaver, which might not be much fun. I'm looking forward to curling up and ignoring the rest of the world tonight - high time I got some rest. A lot of rest...

Being the burn/snake bite/accident victim isn't too bad, all these people working hard to make you feel comfortable. Though I have no experience being a cadaver...

there are worse places to be mistaken for a cadaver. Final year med prac lab, for example

I concur about the many nights without proper sleep. a whole week or two is catching up to me finally and I think the housewarming on the weekend was when i was forced into submission.
