morslaI'd be lying if I said I've been a zombie since getting home this morning. Zombies are ambulatory dead, and there's been precious little movement lately... I think my limbs have been replaced with lead weights. I've been comatose on the couch since getting home at midday, and now I have to run around and pack a bag.
Conquest went well, but was bloody hard work. Most physically demanding convention ever. Six days (including setup and packup). 60 games tables to lug around. Three truck trips. I won't be doing it again. We had fantastic numbers at the convention - lots of happy people gossiping about their games at the after party. Six days is just too many, though. Between GW, PP, Arc, Conquest and UniCon, it's just not much fun any more. 2007 is my year for resigning from things, as I'm feeling a little overstretched.
A thousand thanks to the people who came to help unload the truck this morning (especially![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jod999 and miss_rynn). A thousand apologies to Becka and Andrew Long, who were hit by a falling stack of fifteen 6x4 tabletops. If I'd been close enough to jump in the way, I would have... though I doubt I'd be typing this if I had.
aeliel and I are leaving for Secret Holiday Destinations (tm) in a couple of hours (i.e. I haven't told her what plans have been made for the week :) ). We'll be back on Sunday. Hope everyone recovers from their weekend - we'll see you next week.
