Wow. Between training more intensively last week, and heading out on Friday, I've developed aching muscles that I wasn't aware I had...

aeliel, tarleon, futurelegend and jilavre came over before we headed out to the club. I guess it's always easier to catch up with friends while you can still hear yourself think :-) In the quiet before the storm, much talking was done, and jil began on her epic Pixy Stik consumption - I really hope that coming off that sugar rush happened gently...

I only managed to miss a grand total of one and a half songs, in the first three hours after we arrived - apparently I must have needed to get on a dancefloor again. It's nice to have some more endurance again - traditionally, I slowly build up my stamina during the year, and then have some catastrophic knee/ankle accident that writes me off for three months before I start from scratch again. Right at the moment, my ankles are still as weak as they've ever been, so I'm watching my step pretty carefully at the moment.

I stand corrected on the "invisible giveaways" comment, too - not only did I see tickets given out, I was given a double pass myself while dancing... so I'll be going to see the Punisher at some stage. Was also approached about possibly dancing/glow-twirling at Lychnobyte, too - although I'm not sure I'm confident enough to dance as a "job" yet...

Which reminds me - Lychnobyte seems to be some hybrid of cyber/goth and anime. It's on at the Cabaret Nocturne venue (Dream), and Madman (the anime distributors) are sponsoring it (i.e. DVD giveaways and showbags...). I'm definitely going (whether or not I end up doing performancy stuff) - hope you can come along too. A couple of recent shopping trips have furnished me with the supplies I need to make something new to wear, as well... lets see if I actually get organised enough to finish it.

Sounds like fun. I'd come... if I had the wardrobe for it.

My wardrobe doesn't tend to lend itself to the goth-industrial scene. More to the "I'm a non-entity in fashion" scene.

I'm sure you'd own something that would be appropriate... or even so-innapropriate-that-you-fit-right-in. Jil has been going out dressed in white and retina-searing hot pink, for example ;)

And that T-shirt, of course, is the very essence of fashion itself.

Unfortunately, I'm the wrong breed of mad scientist for that one. Although my lack of knowledge about the laws of physics could be an asset if I need to fundamentally break them... hmmm - I'll see what I can build.

Have raised the idea of getting my uncle to work on wearable LED and flashing electronicy bits for me. He seemed keen a t 3am - this is a good sign.

The sugar rush crash was mild - the energy crash sucked big time. just FYI people have told me that you thought my behaviour amusing? at least I think that's what they meant to say.

This danceasajob thing. go go go I'll come along for moral support.... BOUNCY CASTLE they're gonna have a fucking bouncy castle there and shiny happy lasers to burn my eyes out with if I start feeling like crashing... I shall be saving my pennies for it.
AND i shall be dragging out the hot pink--- making it funkier... see my exam study procrastination plan. woot!
