Abyss, this Friday, late-o'clock 'til sometime Saturday morning. I'll be there, and would love to see as many of you as possible.

Rumour (official rumour, but rumour nonetheless) has it that this is the last night for Abyss. The organisers have been fielding "is it really the last one?" questions for a month now, and it looks like the club really is closing down.

Regardless of what happens, it's a good excuse for a night out :) You can also come and see futurelegend before she flies off to live in faraway lands (okay, not that far, but out of easy bike-riding distance).  Who's with me?

How was Earthcore? There's been a suspicious silence from everyone I know who went... a silence that sounds awfully like "it's Wednesday and I'm still recovering" :)

Yeah - nine and a half years on, they are calling it a day. There are a few clubs coming and going in Melbourne - for a while we had six a week, I think.
