End of the week, in point form...

- Application letters to write
- Where-the-hell-are-we-going project meeting this afternoon
- Tea Party concert tonight (huge thanks to
miss_rynn and
bishi_wannabe for getting me a ticket :) )
- Abyss, for that one last time
- Finishing another painting commission
-
peachofpain's going-away thingamajig (why is everyone going overseas at the moment?)
- Catching up with old friends over beer and 40k on Sunday
- Packing five years of my life into boxes
It's been getting harder to get out of bed in the morning each day, lately - I think it's more than slightly connected to the fact that my heart's not really in this job as much as it was. The general lack of enthusiasm over the last week is oozing through every inch of the building.
It's not all grey, though. A huge package arrived last night - a full set of the Vallejo acrylics! *does the new-art-supplies dance* I've doubled the number of paints and brushes in my room... as soon as I finish moving house, I can paint to my heart's content.
Hang on to your hopes, my friend.
That's an easy thing to say,
But if your hopes should pass away
Simply pretend
That you can build them again...

Date: 2004-12-04 06:58 am (UTC)We'll be moving things on the 11th, most likely - Mikee will be trying to get a 2-tonne truck from work, which will make the furniture shifting much easier.
