Bad thing: This is the only truly free time (day or night) that I have until next Friday.

I'm looking forward to running Silent Streets this weekend. I have teams for six of my seven sessions at the moment, so I'll get to see a few different endings... I only write the beginnings - I want other people to show me how the story ends. I have spent most of the last weekend using Photoshop and InDesign, playing with layouts for the characters - it will look pretty, if nothing else ;-)

For the 40k geeks out there... my Eldar are appearing in the July White Dwarf, in the Army Showcase article. I'll finally get some good photos of them :) The studio has a nice new digital SLR, so I'm looking forward to seeing what the article looks like. There's a preview here, if you're interested.

I practiced my 24, 42 and Wudan forms in the park on Saturday - sometime soon, I should refresh my memory on the 32 Sword. I must find out if I can legally use a training (metal) blade in a public park, though. I ran around on play equipment too, and have discovered many sore muscles as a result. Obviously these muscles don't get enough day-to-day use, and I must run amok more often. Finding time is the biggest problem at the moment, although I decided to do my office paperwork last Friday standing in Empty Step (like a cat stance, but more painful). With no time after work, I'll have to layer tasks on top of each other.

I realised that if the weekend is time to regroup and prepare for the coming week, I'm working 14-day weeks at the moment. I have Rec Leave from work hovering out in the ether, waiting for an opening - some time after the current fortnight I'm taking a week off to sit in a bacta tank and regenerate.
