Urgh... I'm feeling marginally less lively than your average zombie, and there's still so much to be done before tomorrow morning. I headed in to the Wushu class, dropped off the club admin stuff, and then promptly headed home - so much for my final appearence there for a while.

The cause for this pile of work? Nothing to do with uni, or "work" work... Near the end of January, I recieved a letter about a new tournament (40k), and an invitation to play. They are apparently getting quite picky, as it's a rather snobby invite-only affair (tournament winners and suchlike) - but someone seems to have accidentally let me in. Heh heh... I'll see what I can do to make them regret it :P
*fires up "rabble" mode*

Being somewhere south of Sane, I've since sculpted eight models, painted them, built scenery for the new scenarios that have been written for the tournament, and written a few "colour text" bits of fiction... yes, I got a little carried away. As a final insult to the sleep-deprived citysiders who are playing, the damn thing is in Ringwood, and starts at 8am (!). Somehow, someday I will have my revenge on Ghetti and R@tboy for their scheduling and venue...

In case anyone out there is actually interested in this stuff, here's an example of what the things look like...

Hmmm - nine-and-a-bit hours to go, now...

Looked at most of them and found them fairly interesting.
Was surprised by how good the conversion and paint job is. I thought maybe the standard had gone up a bit till I read the bit about winning awards. A decade or so ago I used to enter painting/scratch-building/conversion and diorama comps, and used to go alright. Have had a large Ultramarine army sitting unused in my cupboard for many years.
Anyway nice "work", keep it up as long as you enjoy it.

Pretty.

Hey, I'm tired. So very tired.

I think I saw parts of it at Arc. Very cool, man. Very cool

Sounds like a plan. Most nights except Thursdays should be good for me :)
