After arriving at the Flemington Craft Market and finding it "cancelled on account of weather", we headed up to Moonee Ponds and discovered Fuel cafe. Fantastic food, and very friendly staff... I've walked past it many times, but hadn't been in there before. Anyone who invents not one but two "breakfast pizzas" wins my vote.

I just caught myself creating (yet another) notepad file, in order to jot down some thesis thoughts while reading an article. Then I remembered that I rarely re-read them... I file them in obscure places, or leave them cluttering up my desktop until long after they've passed their use-by date.

So I've downloaded Evernote for my laptop and iPod. My plan is to keep all the various notes sychronised between the two, so that I can track things down when I need them.

Now, I'm off to the gym for the first time in over a month. It's temporarily sunny out there, I need the exercise, and I really need to flee the plague-stricken people in my office. I think I just heard someone cough out a lung.

We checked the website before leaving on Sunday and discovered the market had been cancelled - so we discovered South Melbourne Market instead :)

We checked the website late on Saturday night, and there was still no news about a cancellation. We tried to go to the farmer's market instead, but so did the other thousand-odd people who arrived at the craft market - I've never seen so many cars lining up to get into that parking lot. The queue went from Racecourse road all the way to Gate 7, down near the river.

Sometimes I think that the point of writing little notes is to write them, not to read them later.

Kinda like blog posts. It isn't important whether anyone reads them, it is the writing of them that is important.

Then again, maybe that's just me.
